Breaking down complex scientific information into approachable and engaging story has become a cornerstone of my producer experience.

As a Writer-Producer on the medical explainer series Vitals, I developed, researched, wrote and cast digital episodes featuring practiced hosts and expert guests. I owned each aspect of my episodes’ production process, acting as point communicator with the network and working closely with editors and motion graphics artists. The Vitals team produced biweekly episodes and an array of digital deliverables destined for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and the PBS website. We were fast-paced but rooted in responsible reporting, holding ourselves to high standards in fact-checking , headline selection, and story framing.
