Development Associate Producer

I spent almost a year on Lucky Dog Films’ three-person development team, managing my own projects from initial ideation through network (TLC, Discovery Channel, Magnolia, Animal Planet, Nat Geo WILD, or PBS) greenlight or pass. I developed over a dozen concepts in this time and often received positive network response to my original ideas.

My main tasks were:

• Researching spaces, talent, settings, and more to develop unscripted factual and lifestyle TV programs in response to network and streamer mandates

• Producing sizzle shoots, interviewing potential talent, and cutting sizzles

• Writing and designing casting flyers and one sheets

• Conducting casting outreach via multiple outlets; sorting through casting submissions

• Hiring and managing interns

• Streamlining and updating organizational systems in Google Drive and Dropbox as I saw fit
